Effia has bagged multi Crore Web Based Application project for MG NREGS” – Module Based Process Automation through end-to-end Web Solution. Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MG NREGS) is implemented as a centrally sponsored scheme under the aegis of Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Govt of India, for operationalization of the mandate of National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005 – an act which guarantees minimum 100 days of unskilled wage employment to rural households across the country. Effia to develop end to end Web based Software Solution which will achieve a)Household & wage seeker friendly registration for Job Card – Anywhere, anytime On-line application (in addition to regular application method) (b) Monitoring of Planning, follow up, tracking and ensuring that planning process gets completed in a time-bound manner. (c) Work selection as per Guidelines, better execution, monitoring & transparency (d) The work estimation would be automated and standardized. This one aspect itself will reduce a lot of bottlenecks and wrong implementations in the field.

Effia developed property Tax Solution for BBMP receives award

The World e-Governments Organization of Cities and Local Governments (WeGO) will award the Palike for its GIS based Property Identification (PID) Number system on November 12 in Spain.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Mayor D Venkatesh Murthy said more than 150 city corporations had applied for the award. “The BBMP has won the award under e-governance category,” he said.

The mayor along with Deputy Mayor L Srinivas, present and former chairman (Taxation and Finance) Muneendra Kumar and Manjunath Raju, IT advisor to Commissioner Sheshadri, will go to Barcelona to receive the award next month.
